A year ago, we were reviewing bands and we “fell” upon The Real Geniuses when we were out one night. My now husband and I are 36 you and we really were planning on going with something more Motown- a mellow vibe. After listening to one set of The Real Geniuses, we started thinking that this could REALLY be a fun band. We totally changed our concept of the wedding after seeing them. Weddings should be fun and vibrant…not mellow. We were still really nervous to book them as we’d only seen them for 20 minutes total. Much like you, they gave me several people to contact as references. Everyone raved. We booked them and haven’t looked back.
